Brooke Preston Mr.Rease Eng11 19 Oct 17                                                             Argument Essay iPhones are not created for a person under the age of twelve.  Apps  on the iPhone like the   map, wallet, or the weather app are only used by children within the age of twelve. Teenagers or rather a kid that may be close to becoming a teenager may be more mature than a eight or nine year old. Kids younger than twelve may exposed themselves to  some inappropriate stuff early If they have an iPhone. Some may argue that giving their child a phone will assure them of their safety . However, a iPhone can not save you from danger. Danger is everywhere . In conclusion , kids under twelve don’t need iPhones.

More than 46,000 miles on horseback and counting

Ed Anderson also know as mendo rider is one of the few elite horseman who have safely completed the PCT on horseback. His horses were always healthy , well fed , and had been untroubled by either colic  or injuries. By 1957 Ed Anderson had hiked the Muir Trail section of the PCT.  Ed Anderson designed and built his own version of a VW conversion . He envisioned a self- contained , compact motor home with permanent standing room and a comfortable bed that can fold away . The home caried them through 31 countries . Ed’s wife and daughter bought horse which made Ed want to get another horse.  Ed bought an Tennessee walking horse name Dandy . After retiring Ed decided to face the daunting challenge of finishing the PCT . He rode two courageous Arabian horses , Neekalos and Primo. After four years Ed and Neekalos completed the last section. The back country horseman took pictures of Ed Anderson’s accomplishment. I learned horses can go more than 2,000 miles on a trail with food and water
